Dr. Eakins is President of Lucina and leads the division of Unified Women’s Healthcare that is building and scaling the technology solutions to ensure “all women have the best healthcare in the world.”
Dr. Eakins earned his Medical Doctorate from Northwestern University in Chicago where he was training to be an interventional radiologist. With a passion for building technology to benefit patients beyond his personal practice he left to join McKinsey & Company. There he served Fortune-500 clients across the U.S. healthcare value-chain and learned that true change would come only through innovation in delivery systems.
Since joining Unified in 2015 he has partnered with providers and payors to deliver on that “true change promise” for more than two million moms and babies already.
